LAX-JFK Redeye.
Booked two days ago. Just can’t get enough. Bring on the food & fashion again because it’s going down.
On deck barring any setbacks - the restaurants that I couldn’t make during my birthday trip: momofuku ko (for 16-course lunch this time), Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare, Chef’s Tasting Menu at Torrisi Italian Specialties, and Eleven Madison Park.
All the love for my LA restaurants out here, but NYC has us beat (and I’ll go out on a limb and say SF and Chicago as well - even if I haven’t visited SF in over 12 years and have yet to visit Chicago).
Wiwt: I call this the double sweater ensemble. Last full day in NYC. I’m gonna make it a great one till early in the morning.
Wiwt: I call this the, “Eating a little too well in NYC so I need to hide the food baby + all navy ode to the color I loved growing up + waiting in line for Wicked lottery or else I gotta drop serious bread” outfit.
Outfit: J. Crew cable knit toggle button shawl collar cardigan, J. Crew lightweight shirt, J. Crew silk knit tie, Baldwin Henley, Superga, Filson 261.
After a 4.5 hour red-eye flight from LAX to JFK, On my way to The Dutch for brunch with an old friend. And the adventure begins.
Everything finalized, all is in order, but damn you Eleven Madison Park for having nothing available…even for lunch.
This trip is going to be bonkers.
